9.24.09 | The League of Scientists, currently free for students in Grades 3-5, helps kids explore key science concepts. In Lab Rat Race, Beaker Blast, Butterfly Boss, and Circuit Center, kids create avatars to solve puzzles and defeat opponents. Science content is provided by the International Society for Technology in Education.

The League of Scientists joins DimensionM, an immersive math game, in Tabula Digita’s offerings. Players carry out missions in multiplayer, tournament-style, 3D games and score points for solving math obstacles.

A Florida school district used DimensionM in its summer programs. “Our students commented that they never knew they could have this much fun at summer school,” said Janet Boatman, middle school mathematics supervisor for Hillsborough County schools, in a statement released this week. “As educators, we love to see this kind of enthusiasm for math coupled with improved student learning – it makes us all winners.”

Conspiracy Code is an online, immersive, 3D game for high school students to develop twenty-first century skills in addition to covering the core subject area. Conspiracy Code helps students with written communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills, in addition to higher-order thinking skills. The game is facilitated by teachers, who participate in the game along with the students.
