[Reblogged] Howard Gardner: Is the Medium the Message?

Howard Gardner asks the question: “do the new digital media change everything?” We reblog this post from last spring in conjunction with yesterday’s discussion in Cambridge where Gardner was a panelist.

Howard Gardner spoke last night at a forum at the Brattle Theater in Cambridge, titled Totally Wired: How Technology is Changing Kids and Learning, along with Katie Salen and Henry Jenkins. The event marks the publication of the MacArthur Series on Digital Media and Learning.

In this post, Howard explores the ways in which the new digital media are changing human culture, politics and commerce. Read the complete post here.
