Description of Current Work:

I am developing new models for digital library learning environments that explore the complex relationship between the “closed” world of the classroom and teaching tools, and the “open” world of the Web. I am interested in how we will create educational resources that provide the right balance of freedom and guidance for students, while also incorporating useful elements of the Web 2.0 environments in which these users spend so much of their time.
