Description of Current Work:
My work focuses on social uses and effects of communication technologies. My research includes examinations of how users make sense of the credibility of information in the new media environment, problems of online privacy and security, and the theoretical and regulatory changes brought about by the development of new media technologies. I am currently co-editing the volume on Credibility in the MacArthur Series on Digital Media and Learning, which will appear in 2007.
